I meant more in the context of people with no skills and no idea about photography. I also said in the thread that it doesn't matter what kind of camera you have as long as your pictures are good

I'm not going to say specifically who's going to be guaranteed a spot, because then we'd get no entries, but just get any camera you can for now, even a cell phone, as I will look more for composition than camera quality.

also check out the lumopro flash. http://www.lumopro.com/LP120.html they're pretty sick flashes for the price, way more features than the vivitar.

Well...Vivitar Falshes are always good and cheap. The Vivitar 285 is awesome and runs around $80. For a good low prices remote flash trigger i would look into alien bees. They are like 150 for the set. So around $250 for on flash and s wireless setup. Hope this helps! Good luck.
